Garden-Inspired Floral Designs for Weddings and Events in the Rochester Area

Our floristry focuses on capturing the foam-free beauty seen in nature. An appreciation for color, texture, and curves allows each design to be unique.

  • Eco-Friendly Designs

We highly value keeping our designs eco-friendly. We avoid the use of toxic floral foam keeping our designs foam free. We implement sustainability practices by working with local flower growers when possible.

  • Small Scale Studio

Our services are really personal, so we only take a limited number of weddings and events per year to ensure our clients get the attention they deserve! At Hands Floristry, we believe in creative freedom. This allows each and every event to be unique and special.

  • Floristry Style

Our floristry style is garden-inspired. We allow each flower to speak for itself by keeping our arrangements airy. Using the natural shapes, textures, and colors, we create harmonious arrangements that feel whimsical, elegant and romantic.

About

My Purpose...

Hello! I'm Heather - Owner and Head Designer of Hands Floristry. My purpose is to center my life on Jesus Christ. He blessed me with the passion and gift of floristry. It brings me joy to work with His floral creations, and it allows me to serve others. It is through the work of many hands that our arrangements tell a story. From the hand that created and sowed the seed, to the ones that reaped the harvest and created the arrangement, this is why we named ourselves Hands Floristry. I am honored to have the opportunity to use my creativity and love for flowers to commemorate my clients' most meaningful moments.

My Story...

An appreciation for flowers is something that was taught to me at a young age by my parents. I watched my father develop a passion for growing Dahlias and starting a small business. Now I want to carry on his legacy by specializing in growing Dahlias for my own arrangements. Since the age of twelve, I have achieved many awards from the Minnesota State Fair, Minnesota Dahlia Society, and Olmstead County Fair. At sixteen, I expanded my knowledge in the floral industry by working at a local floral shop. After graduating with my Bachelor of Arts, I had a desire to use my childhood passion and gift to serve others.
